West Runton is situated on the North Norfolk Coast between Sheringham and Cromer. With a beautifully quiet yet easily accessible beach this village is also host to The Links golf course with both Cromer and Sheringham clubs (both first class full courses) within 2 miles and the famous Norfolk Shire Horse Centre where working horses can still be seen.

The beach recently gave up one of the most important archaeological finds in living memory with the West Runton Elephant, an early example of Mammuthus trogontherii. Only 3 skeletons have ever been found and the West Runton specimen is the best preserved.

Public Transport - There's a regular bus service along the coast road and trains to Cromer, Sheringham, Norwich and the Broads.
